About the performance

War, war, war. Even the word is bloodcurdling. Comes to our minds the many million innocent victims, sparks in our memory the   images of meaningless massacre, the soundless Armagedon of the nuclear explosion projects in our imagination its milky fog. The world is on fire, there is no chance to hide, and we can’t protect ourselves from the horror. There nothing else left for us, just to humbly look at our own execution. That's how it looks the demonic face of the war today. But this face is unknown for the new recruits stationed in Biloxi. The ten week training is nothing else just a long class trip. Here are no piles of corpses, most notably more than comfortable push-ups, uneatable camp food, and the whims of a strict officer. Looking at war from here its like an adventure, challenge, opportunity. No more than a juvenile memory, with which they will happily entertain their grandchildren. And of course the moment, when the boy has to die, so the man could be born.
