The Two Companies of the Northern Theater Having a Joint Premier

On September 18, starting at 7 pm, after a long time, another premier will take place in the performance hall of the Northern Theater of Satu Mare.

The co-production of the Harag György Company and the Mihai Raicu Company „At the 0th Milestone” directed by Ándi Gherghe, based on Csaba Székely's Aliens - Four Political Children's Pieces.

"Since the beginning of the artistic leadership of my colleague Ovidiu Caița, there has been a continuous improvement in the relationship between the Hungarian and Romanian companies, which is now based not only on good collegiality, but also on common thinking and active dialogue. There are also tangible signs of this for the audience: we have already done joint flashmobs, workshops, we are organizing the Transit Festival together and we have been planning to create a co-production for a long time. This performance is in itself an important moment in this process of opening to each other, as we are creating a bilingual co-production for the first time in our half-century of common history. An important circumstance is that the Romanian Company took the name of Mihai Raicu - with this and with the increasingly remarkable professional work, they created a strong professional profile and brand, led by my managing colleague. This is also important because a real dialogue can only take place between equal and reciprocal partners, on the basis of professionalism and mutual respect. This can now be said to be a natural endowment, which opens up new perspectives for us. I am glad that Ándi Gherghe, who is well known for his bilingual plays, which often deals with the Hungarian-Romanian coexistence, accepted our invitation and helped to deepen this better professional relationship and dialogue during the joint work, and to thematize important social issues through Székely Csaba's text. ", says István Gedő Bessenyei, the artistic director of the Harag György Company.

Cast: Ioana Cheregi, Frumen Gergő, Keresztes Ágnes, Raluca Mara, Moldován Blanka, Poszet Nándor, Andrei Stan and Sergiu Tăbăcaru. Costume designer: Cristina Milea, composer: Moldován Blanka, the lyricis: Andrei Stan, choreographer: Szabó Franciska.
