Bandura Emese laureate of the Silver Tulip

The leader of the Brighella Puppet Theatre took over the recognition on 15 march.

The Silver Tulip in the category of youth and sports was given this year to Bandura Emese, leader of the Brighella Puppet Theatre. The following laudation was performed at the awards ceremony held in The Northern Theatre:

Bandura Emese was born on June 5, 1979 in Satu Mare. She was initiated in puppet theatre in a group made by Madisz where she was involved in creating of many children and adult performances

Between 1993 and 1997 she studied at the Kölcsey Ferenc High School, is member of the drama circle led by Nagy Gyula, in the summer of 1995 is a volunteer at the French Maison Jean Frederic Oberlin International Cultural Centre where she receives artistic education.

Between 1997-2003 studies at University of Arts Târgu Mureș. She interrupted her university studies to volunteer for handicapped children at Swiss Perceval Institute.

After graduating, in 2003 joins puppet theatre located in Satu Mare, playing the main role of several puppet performances. From 2009 she is also a puppet designer, since 2011 she has directed puppet performances and from 2013 she is the leader of the puppet theatre. In 2014 she was the founder of the Art Project Association, which the main purpose is the children's quality cultural entertainment and the extension of the technical equipment of the puppet theatre.

Since 2015, she and her husband have been members of Kabóca Puppet Theatre Veszprém. accepting the request, they spend a season in Veszprém, and back, she benefits the experiences, relationships in interest of Brighella Puppet Theatre. Under the leadership and the city leadership, she managed to find a home worthy of the 21st century puppet theatre in the Industrial Home. The 15-year-old puppet theatre was added to the international puppet map, regularly representing our city at Pécs, Kaposvár, Veszprém and Oradea, Miercurea Ciuc, Cluj Napoca.

This year, the Transylvanian puppeteer also recognized the work of the Brighella Puppet Theatre by many awards at Fux Feszt and Puck Festival.

for many years she has been organizing the children's program of Zilele Maghiare Partium. Her main objective is to establish a closer relationship between the puppet theatre and the teachers.
