Foundation stone and Bocsárdi-premiere on may 17

Theatre history moment and a real holiday for the Harag György Company on May 17th, when on Hám János street there are going to put the foundation of Satu Mare a new studio hall. After this special moment, starting at 17.30 pm there took place the presentation of Csirák Csaba’s book, after that, at 18.00 pm follows the presentation of Sixty-five Year Chronicle entitled dvd database.

Another highlight of the day is going to be the premiere of Scapin directed by Bocsárdi László.
The cast is somewhat astounding; the title character is played, this time, by an actress. „In this production is not thematically, but because of the way the role is formed I important, that Scapin is a woman. (…) Scapin is an artist and the embodiment of the art, and although the art has not a biological gender, the artist held’s that kind of incredible empathy, that we can find primarily in woman, who carries the opportunity to create a new life. I don't want to present at the scene the purely classical man servant archetypal playfulness.” – said Bocsárdi László.

Scapin. Scappino. Escaper. An escape artist. An artist's escape. There is someone who can get rid of the strained situations, so at any time, might save us the trouble. Who is he? A puppet, a donor, a servant, who descends into our inner hell, to get dirty in our grime and clean us. Why he does it? For money? He is able to pull out millions of the simple-minded giant lord, but he doesn't keep anything for himself. He is awesome, because he is indecipherable. He is horrible, because, in trouble he is indispensable. It is scandalous that we need him. We're at his mercy, because we are cowards, ignorant and liars. We need someone to see through the tangle of truth and know all our secrets. We need someone with whom we can be honest, who unconsciously holding up a mirror to us, who can help you spin own ugliness. But what we do with that excellent spirit, when everything's finally fine? We are debtors and we cannot pay, because although everything he did is a fraud, all his words are lies, actually, he is not bribable. Let's get rid of him?
