Puppet Show – Successful Performance at Miercurea Ciuc

This year, Csíki Játékszín Theatre organized for the first time Lurkó Festival involving theatres for children an youth. There were brought 13 performances by eight theatre companies and three one-man shows, showing 24 performances at all.

It was carried out between 2-8 May 2013. It was attended by Brighella Puppet Show evolving two performances of The three piglets and the wolves puppet show. The shows were scheduled for the fifth and sixth days of the festival, starting at 10 and 11 a.m. Both performances of this wonderful puppet show directed by Bandura Emese were enjoyed by full house audience.

The three piglets and the wolves puppet show is a blend of two classic fairy tales where the thrilling game of hand and string puppets recounted a series of events in the lives of three piglets.
In addition to performances there were organized activities for parents, teachers and for all passionate about theater for children, as well as reading-performances followed by points of debate involving secondary school students.
