About the performance

A ten-line little story about the search for truth. Ten-line little story about persistence. In the same ten lines, courage, humour, justice. A small tale with big truths.  Still, it's not because of these, that I chose this story: for me the problematic of the letting go is the strongest is this story. The relationship between a mother-child, trust, the power of faith. That is why I chose  this Hungarian folk tale, well known to the youngest, which nowadays is most head in the transcription of László Arany.

Although the more hundred years old story was written to the than actual enemy image, the actuality of seeking justice has lost nothing, our fight for our truth remained the same intensity as was then, only our enemies persona has changed, became multi-shaped, mutli-faced. What does a kindergarten toddler understands from this? From the interpretation probably nothing. From the intensity of the tale, from the acceptance or alienation of the figures, from the humour of the life like challenges even more. The classic folk tales for the children is the recurrence of the same problems, because for the younger generation is always problematic, that, what they should do, what are their resources, if somebody takes their personal belongings, mocks them, or maybe bullies them. To tolerate humiliation, or to make arbitrary decisions and do whatever it takes for their sense of justice to overcome, where is the border, which, when they cross, they wouldn’t be injured and wouldn’t injure somebody else? The tale of the brave little rooster is the favourite of the smallest, and not the well-deserved stingy revenge is its secret, but the little rooster’s persona, the exemplar. Because the stubborn rooster is the same love-filled little bird, who does everything, just to make his owner happy.
