Sunday, 19 October, 19.00 p.m., all concerned can entertain again the humorous events Ludas Matyi in the main hall of the House of Culture Satu Mare. The performance directed by Bessenyei István is titrated in Rumanian.

Honoring the invitation of József Attila Theatre, Budapest, the play will resume on the 28th of October at 18.00p.m. on the stage of the Hungarian capital.

The story of Ludas Matyi in Satmar is based on the work of Fazekas Mihály. In his play Fazekas used a lot of elements from the authentic Hungarian folk-tales, that’s why this story becomes popular in the XXI^th century, too.

Bessenyei István, the director of the play, changed the original title of the play into Ludas Matyi in Satmar, because he reconsidered the basic story inserting proper folksongs folk music and folkdances of the area.
